WOTAN Alerting
WOTAN Alerting is an enterprise-wide alerting solution. WOTAN allows an ITIL-compliant alerting, this means alarms are set off to dedicated persons or target groups depending on the kind of alarm. If the acknowledgement fails to appear an escalation according to pre-defined plans is kicked off.
Some companies use WOTAN Alerting independent from monitoring for their daily workflows. E.g. when an important job aborts alerting is started.
Configuration of alerts and reporting are done via a browser-interface. A hardware module for sending/receiving SMS directly at the servicer is supplied with the product. Several mail-systems are supported.
