WOTAN for Facility Management and Environment Monitoring
Facility Management covers everything around properties, facilities, machines and supply systems which are relevant for the production, service provision and secureing of processes within properties.
The technical facility management deals with keeping the properties functioning. Tasks include operational management, supply and environment management. WOTAN offers a lot of beneficial possibilities in this area.
Events like power blackouts or environmental disturbances can be discovered by WOTAN and the appropiate actions like maintenenance or renovation can be launched. The complete monitoring and recording also supports vulnerability analysis.

Example 2

Example 3
In a data center WOTAN monitors the temperature and humidity in the room. Furthermore the temperatures in single racks and the energy consumption of each rack are monitored and in case of exceeding/deceeding the defined threshold values an alarm is set off.
Bur before the alarm is set off, WOTAN controls if it is a "simple" waste of energy or if it is a critical violation of the set limit.
Example 4
A hospital chain (about 20 hospitals) monitors with WOTAN the temperature in medicine cupboards for high-priced drugs/medicine. When temperature is exceeding/deceeding the defined threshold values, then the ward nurses in charge are alarmed.
